Prostokvashino is a Russian animated series created by the famous Soyuzmultfilm film studio using 2D and 3D animation in 2018. It is a continuation of the series of Soviet cartoons Three from Prostokvashino, Holidays in Prostokvashino and Winter in Prostokvashino.

A city boy named Uncle Fyodor has friends in the village of Prostokvashino — this is the cat Matroskin, the dog Sharik and the grumpy old postman Pechkin. The boy prefers to spend time with them. Unlike the parents, the cat and the dog listen to Uncle Fyodor’s opinion and treat him as an adult. Together they farm and master modern technologies. But Uncle Fyodor's parents have a little daughter, Vera Pavlovna, and now she also wants to live in Prostokvashino, where she found a very unusual friends here.

Continuing the tradition, in the new Prostokvashino cat Matroskin was voiced over by Anton Tabakov, the script was written by Eduard Uspensky.
