The animated series Checkered Zebra was created by the Soyuzmultfilm animation studio with the cooperation of the PKVS in 2020. The cartoon is in the top 10 on the «Carousel» TV channel and has more than 20 million views on YouTube.

The series tell a story about friends who live on an island where every day is full of adventures. All the animals have different habits, tastes, character traits and appearance. This often causes misunderstanding and conflicts. But the Checkered Zebra acts resourcefully and creatively in any situation, encouraging his friends to look at reality from different perspective and not be afraid to go beyond their usual behavior.
